Homeless and hungry immigrants in Toronto area

N.A.L.T Canada has identified a host of immigrants from African countries that are camping on the street in the Toronto area of Canada without adequate shelter and food. We understood that they are new entrants that are going through Canada immigration procedures.

From our findings from speaking to some of these persons in the camp, shelter and food tops the list of their needs. Provision of temporary shelter and food are part of the relief aids offered by N.A.L.T Canada.

We are working on identifying the specific number of persons facing these challenges and the countries they came in from, and generally, the camp in-flow and out-flow. We respect the cultural perspectives around different foods and tend to give out more widely accepted food items, by the people.

For shelter, the situation on ground is that the number of people moving in keeps increasing and at a rate higher than the number of people leaving the camp. Tents are needed to accommodate and shelter these people from rays of sunlight and rainfall.

The money, food items, and shelter items that Canadian governments, their counterparts, and concerned individuals and organizations donates to us for this aid will go into procurement, preservation, packaging, transportation, preparation, and setup, as the case may be. You can make a donation now and we will account for all donations received and how we used them for our causes.
