Today is not too late to help—to show compassion and kindness—to people facing unequal service delivery—experiencing hunger, poor water quality, displacement, climate change, multidimensional poverty, and the digital divide.
We estimate that 1 in 5 individuals would be interested in at least one of the global injustice issues, and could go to the extent of giving towards solving the issues. Many non-governmental organizations have donated towards helping the needy live better by providing things like food, clean drinking water, shelter, healthcare, schools, digital technology, the internet, and money.
Elected political office holders have a lot to do with policies and financial support towards helping residents enjoy an adequate standard of living. And also coming together to make the world a peaceful place.
This groundswell of universal interest needs to reach the corridors of power—so we call on the people of Canada to engage their elected officers handling finance, internal and external affairs, and justice portfolios.
